Amy and Jon are such a dream. Seriously. Both so super sweet and fun. Okay, that sounds like an entry in the back of someone’s yearbook, but it’s true! I love this couple. You may remember Amy from her bridals. Well, she looked just as fabulous on her wedding day (opting to go with her hair up in case it was hot–and let me tell you, it was). My future sister-in-law, Joanna, joined me to second shoot during the temple (thanks again Jo!), and then Jake joined me for the reception. In my opinion, having a good assistant is SO important to my job. Lucky me, I got two!
Love these two shots! Both by Jo

Amy’s dad demonstrating the hard part of being Father of the Bride. Haha. Another great shot by Jo!
Used a little texture here
Love Amy’s red toes 🙂
Candy tables are becoming quite popular. And for good reason. The guests (okay, and the photographers) love it!
Great shot by Jake
The ever-so-charming wedding party
And a little less traditional shot
Amy and Jon’s reception was held at the BEAUTIFUL home of Lauren, one of Amy’s bridesmaids. The backyard featured this lovely game called “Bocce” (pronouced Bocchi), which is quite famous in Europe and parts of Canada.
Love the rings. Simple and classic. Just like the bride and groom
LOVED the light during the dancing! The reflection on the pool was amazing. Check out the slideshow for more amazing reflection shots!
What better way to end than with sparklers?
Congratulations to the new couple!

Bocce is my favorite! I’ve never seen a bocce set up like that. We just play on the grass. Fun wedding and great pics
